Hamp Brockman

Musician/Composer/Studio Musician/Performing Songwriter

Hamp Brockman’s music is an experience that is felt as much as it is heard.  His music is all at once healing, energizing, and calming.  Listeners feel inspired and revived. 

 

Hamp, as a Jazz Studies graduate from The University of North Texas, possesses prowess as a guitarist, and adds he’s own unique infusion of superior tone, passion, and soul.  Guitar has been a lifelong, dedicated pursuit along with mandolin, composing, and songwriting.  Most recently, He performed for 12 years as a duo with his wife, Janet.  Most recently, he has performed as a solo singer songwriter.

 

Hamp’s repertoire includes luscious instrumentals, original songs, and very well chosen covers all rendered in a variety of styles and a unique approach that only Hamp can offer.

 

He has been a live sideman to Tom Prasada-Rao, George Ensle, Janet Brockman, John Whipple, Robert Mark Abrahams, Ben Bochner, Jim Keaveny, Dallas Burrow, Shanna in a Dress, and Jack Motley.  He also enjoys working as a studio musician and fostering continuous artistic growth.
